Alise Hardy is an award-winning artist and educator. As an artist, Alise explores issues of social justice and sustainability through illustration. Her most recent solo exhibition, called ‘Sad’, visually discussed the impact of depression, grief and sadness on young adults. The exhibition won the City Rural Emerging Artist award and was a finalist in The Advertiser Contemporary Art award and the Adelaide Review Outsider Art award. Alise is also the director of Through Art, a service offering workshops that enable young people to learn literacy and numeracy skills through art.
